The year's first Clear Space was an enormous success. It took place on February 5th at Will's North Woods, a laid-back and quirky lodge-like bar. In spite of the cold and icy road conditions, more than fifty AIGA members filled the rear party room. Coats were hung on every hook and taxidermic hoof as students, faculty members and professionals crammed in for a fun night of beer and banter. There was barely enough elbow room by mid-evening, but it was still a very casual and comfortable evening. As Clear Space's popularity and interest within the Chicago design community continues to grow, Chicagoans with graphic design interests will be well-acquainted in no time.
