Following the announcement of Adobe CS4 on September 23, Tom Petrillo, Adobe Solutions Engineer, led a morning lecture-style workshop hosted at Columbia College on October 8.

This presentation unveiled some of the latest features to the release of CS4, in addition to sharing some of the ideology of work flow within the software. Petrillo navigated the latest in Adobe Bridge, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash. Some of the new ideology included Adobe's effort to integrate tools onto the workspace to eliminate time and needless thinking, and allow users to focus clearly on creativity.

Other high points that evoked reaction from the crowd were Photoshop's new "content-aware scalability," and Illustrator's ability to use multiple paste boards at custom dimensions. The in-depth presentation concluded with a Q & A session.
