Q Interactive is hiring an Interactive Design Specialist.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Interactive Design Specialist/Interactive Designer follows best web practices to design and develop web/email creative and online ads and to support our products.  S/he has a strong working knowledge of how to graphically present/optimize our client creative in order to deliver the highest campaign ROI. Participates in peer reviews of work and endeavors to help the team produce ever-better results. The Interactive Designer works collaboratively with other teams to improve the success of ad campaigns, partnerships and branded web properties.

DETAILED OVERVIEW OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Execution

  • Knowledge of design principles/typography, and ability to utilize technology to execute attractive, user-friendly web content.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cross-browser and e-mail client rendering differences.
  • Ability to modify and optimize client-supplied creative to fit product specs.
  • Ability to follow directions to create custom offer creative.
  • Understanding and demonstration of web standards and best practices.
  • Provide creative support for special projects (such as mock ups for client presentation) as defined by department leaders.
  • Ability to present and sell creative ideas with support from senior creative/manager.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.


Brand / Product Consistency

  • Adheres to brand and product specifications to most effectively communicate product or service.


Education + Experience Requirements

  • 2+years experience in web and online ad design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator)
  • Ability to code raw HTML, XHTML and CSS.
  • Online portfolio
