The New Frontier: An Adventure with Edward Johnston

The Chicago Calligraphy Collective invites members of AIGA Chicago to a unique presentation on a chapter in the life of Edward Johnston, presented by his grandson Andrew. Andrew Johnston, a highly respected documentary filmmaker in his own right, is traveling through North America replicating the journey that Edward himself made in 1898. Andrew believes this journey was a seminal event in the development of Edward Johnston as a teacher and artist.

Admission is FREE. After the presentation there will be a reception and tour of the Center for Book and Paper Arts.
