Arnold Goodwin, an influential graphic designer and icon in the Chicago design community, passed away on November 30. He was 63 years old.
Arnie’s love for design was life-long. But he got his first professional exposure to it while working for a meeting planning company in San Francisco. He convinced their marketing department that he could design the company’s communications materials. The gamble earned him a position as in-house design director.
